U Republici Hrvatskoj udio sezonskih radnika u djelatnosti ugostiteljstva i turizma sve više i više zauzima značajno mjesto na tržištu rada zbog velike potrebe za radnicima u navedenim sektorima. I ove godine očekuje se veliki broj radnika koji će dolaziti iz tzv. trećih zemalja (zemlje koje nisu članice EU).
Veliki broj sezonskih radnika, a posebno radnika iz zemalja koje nisu članice EU, nije upoznat sa svojim radnim i ostalim pravima i najčešće su upravo ti radnici najugroženija kategorija radnika, smatra Europska komisija.
Morate znati da Direktiva EU o sezonskim radnicima koja obvezuje Republiku Hrvatsku (2014/36/EU) i čije odredbe su uvrštene u Zakon o strancima (NN 133/20.), u večini svojih odredbi predviđa jednak tretman sezonskih radnika i državljana EU/EEA, uz pojedina ograničenja vezana za duljinu vašeg boravka u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Sindikat turizma i usluga Hrvatske, u skladu s odredbama Zakona o strancima, Zakona o radu, nacionalnim sektorskim kolektivnim ugovorom za ugostiteljstvo, kao i velikim brojem kolektivnih ugovora zaključenih s većinom poslodavaca u velikim hotelskim kompanijama, pruža besplatnu pravnu pomoć svim radnicima iz djelatnosti ugostiteljstva i turizma koji su učlanjeni u Sindikat, pa tako i vama - stranim radnicima, ako postanete našim članovima, a sve s ciljem jedinstvene primjene zakonske regulative na sve radnike u Republici Hrvatskoj, vaše pravne sigurnosti i bolje adaptacije u državi u koju dolazite.
TKO SMO ?
Sindikat turizma i usluga Hrvatske (STUH) najveći je, reprezentativni sindikat radnica i radnika u turističkoj i ugostiteljskim djelatnostima, brojimo oko 4. 000 članova organiziranih u više od 200 sindikalnih podružnica diljem zemlje.
STUH je član najveće sindikalne središnjice u zemlji – Saveza samostalnih sindikata Hrvatske – koja broji oko 110 000 članova (oko 50% od ukupnog broja sindikalno organiziranog radništva udruženog u ostale sindikalne središnjice) i udružuje 23 granska sindikata.
STUH je član IUF-a (Međunarodne sindikalne konfederacije zaposlenih u poljoprivredi, prehrambenoj industriji, ugostiteljstvu i turizmu) koja broji više od 12 milijuna članova u 120 zemalja diljem svijeta i EFFAT-a (sindikalne konfederacije istog tipa samo na europskoj razini) koji broji 2 600 000 članova u 35 europskih zemalja.
STUH djeluje s pet regionalnih i jednim područnim uredom na teritoriju cijele Republike Hrvatske.

In the Republic of Croatia, the share of seasonal workers in the hospitality and tourism industry is increasingly occupying a significant place in the labor market due to the great need for workers in these sectors. This year, also, a large number of workers is expected to come from the so-called third countries (non-EU countries).
A large number of seasonal workers, especially workers from non-EU countries, are not familiar with their labor and other rights, and most often these workers are the most endangered category of workers, according to the European Commission.
You should know that the EU Directive on Seasonal Workers, which binds the Republic of Croatia (2014/36 / EU) and whose provisions are included in the Aliens Act (OG 133/20), in most of its provisions provides for equal treatment of seasonal workers and EU / EEA citizens , with certain restrictions related to the length of your stay in the Republic of Croatia.
The Trade Union of Tourism and Services of Croatia, in accordance with the provisions of the Aliens Act, the Labor Law, the National sectoral collective agreement for hospitality sector, as well as a large number of collective agreements concluded with most employers in large hotel companies, provides free legal aid to all employees in tourism and hospitality sector who are members of our union, and so to you - foreign workers as well, if you become our members, all with the aim of equal application of legislation to all workers in the Republic of Croatia, your legal security and better adaptation to the country you come to.
